It's about time to start collecting parts for a rebuild of my sm465. 2nd gear synchro is shot. what's a decent kit to look at?

I would not trust eBay or Amazon parts sources on bearings and syncros
Would this be all I need?

there is an updated sleeve for the countershaft because the snap ring for 3rd gear can break. I had to take my transmission back apart a few thousand miles after the rebuild, and add one after some hard shifts and the snap ring broke.

Finally getting around to this, if you pull the bearings from the countershaft first the input comes out pretty easy, but that main shaft has the clearance of a frogs hair and is one heavy sob. I have 2 gears with bad teeth but have replacements already

I am terrified to open my. 40+ years old and never opened

I got the 4 and 8 inch version of these and they were life savers

one of the 2 I have came out of a super beat up toe truck and it sat in a junkyard under a hood for who knows how long, likely the teeth were messed up from rust, but it looked really good otherwise. These things are simple beasts and made of great alloys
