Snow fall?

-10 points for this guys parking job at the bottom of my neighborhood. 7-1 odds someone smashes him.

Still waiting for a big snow up here, but instead we get 1-2in once a week every week...just enough to keep the cars dirty and salty.

I think we are done here in fletcher. It stopped snowing about an hour ago. Total accumulation about 1.5 inches... I'm thankful, better than nothing I guess.

Roads are stupid slick here in Thomasville. And having a spool in the rear makes it pretty fun to drive around. I had to unlock one hub so 4x4 actually keeps me straight lol

1.5-2 inches here in the greater Stanley metro area. On my way home at 6pm, the roads were very driveable assuming you aren't an idiot. Fortunately I didn't see any idiots, so I put my truck in 2wd and tried my hand. No success, but lots of fun.

About 2" in the sprawling metropolis of Horse Shoe/ Etowah. Roads are stupid slick just south of Asheville. Luckily my trusty ladder rack kept my F-2fitty planted.

Ended up leaving work early. Not much on the ground, but roads were covered and crazy slick. People were speeding past me. Saw 3 wrecks and passed several rollbacks with wrecked vehicles on them. I thought it was a little odd that the I-40 in Asheville was worse than the side roads home....our road is now covered.

Not a ton of snow, but pretty slick in the Steele Creek Area/SW Charlotte. Just went on a cold beverage run and glad I went when I did. Couple hills on the way into the hood were controlled tire spin and momentum to get up them in the Honda.

About an inch in west charlotte, had the city bus go off the road twice and shut down the road for an hour or so. Had probably 10 people slide off the road and get stuck in the yard, mostly 2wd SUVs.

I don't like driving in the snow... If you watch the 'winter crash' videos on youtube...95% of the wrecks are clearly going to fast for conditions. If you drive the appropriate speed for your vehicle and the conditions, you'll get run over. And flipped off a lot.

We only got an inch or so in the Bostic area, but the roads were BAD. I took the daughter to work and man were the " I don't know how to drives" out! On one hill there was a van in the ditch on the right side, a car in the ditch on the left side, another car, a Mercedes SUV type vehicle sides ways in the road in which I had to stop for. I backed out of the way while he attempted to back down the hill. Once he was clear, I just put the 77 Chief in drive and motored on by! As the say "Priceless" The two vehicles in the ditch didn't want any assistance so I dropped the daughter off, while on the way back, following a car, the lady decided to turn left into a church parking lot, but when she applied the brakes and she started sliding right and of course just stayed on the brakes and slid right into the ditch. Chief to the rescue! Got her to the parking lot she trying to turn into where he husband picked her up. Gotta love old iron!

Glad I'm not the only one around here that noticed that. You hear about the wreck off the hudlow, the first hill coming from the intersection. Then the 2 car wreck @ ingles at the crossover. Hudlow

Yup, the Hudlow FD was at the hill I mentioned on Whitesides rd on the way back home and said the roll over had priority over the two cars in the ditch. He then started to explain to me to be careful on preceding down the hill and then stopped himself, looked at the vehicle and said never mind, you know. LOL

My dad lives in Atlanta.
He's been sitting in the same spot on the beltway for 4 hrs.
