So I was sold on this bumper...

Which bumper?

LSR Bumper (#3) FTW! Personally, I've never been a big fan of tube bumpers on the WJ. Have you priced what it would cost to build it locally? Here's another one of my favorites (minus the weird d-ring mounts):

Yes, and it's about double what the tube bumper would be. Still not convinced that isn't what I'm going to end up doing, just trying to justify the additional cost to myself.

I vote for take it to Chris and let him show you option "D". LOL! His stuff always kicks ass.

The grand cherokees are tough to design bumpers for in my opinion with home much curved lines it has and trying to incorporate something with straight lines it tough. this is a good balance but they did do something retarded with the D rings. they should be on the front section pointed downward. at least then it would be straight. I would talk to local fab guys on here before going through the hassel of ordering something.Or get option B and get someone local to finish skining the wing section.

o yeah that is a very sharp and clean cherokee you have. :huggy:

#3 is the best I think, even if its not an option. IMO your WJ looks pretty sick as it is now, super clean. Id go with 3 or just not bother, because 1 and 2 look kinda weird.

(Sorry to slow I mean three)I like the last one with the light moved up to the top facia plate and the look tweeked a bit to make it work. The profile would have to peak out exactly at the tow point and it to would get a bit more aggressive in size. The lower area protecting the radiator would get plate rather than tube and most likely go brushed stainless or aluminum for spiffing up the front on that glossy black paint. French two light under winch and two more in the sides.

That my 2 plus a penny or three cents worth!

Well...this is what I ended up doing.

And this is how it's turning out! I think it looks great and can't wait to get it back! Thanks Chris!

Came out great. I dont believe he has a plasma table, are those pieces cut with a circular saw?
All of it is cut with a plasma cutter freehand. Me and the ol' straight edge get along pretty good. I'm working on the plasma table. Hopefully in the next few months!

Well I got it powdercoated and installed. Chris told me to get a couple guys to help, so I grabbed the first two I could find.
After the install I realized my fatal error in the process. I was supposed to mount the winch first. :handed:

So tomorrow morning, off it comes again! Yay!
