Garlic peppercorn pork medallions (or crudely ressembling) with what's left of a bacon wrap. Just getting the Lodge warmed up.

Tomorrow night............. deer shoulder peeled,scored and marinated in Newman's Own balsamic vin. salad dressing and cracked pepper in a 2.5 gallon ziplock for 48 hrs.

To be grilled on hot coals fri. night and basted w more NOBV as it's turned.

served w sourdough rolls, baked taters, and a salad.
