So YOU THINK YOU CAN DRIVE - (Give Away Inside)

We will see ya'll bright and early Sat. morning ( about 5:30 or 6) and will let Dylan wake you up with a Rotory engine at 8 grand LOL If he drives like he does mostof the time you are in for a show, Dang idiot

SWEET!

(I do worry a bit about him never seeing the course before lap one...but you will have 2 races to watch I suppose!)

I will be codriving with him and he will be there early enough we can get a lap in the the early am!!!!

Sweet. Ive seen the kid drive that sami before, he might be 13, but watch out lol. This makes it so much more interesting, can't wait for this one, having only been to the flats race, this one being close, and the finale, gonna be some serious carnage.

Also, is stump gonna be at this one? Im pretty anxious to see the busa sami.

Rumor has it the Busa Sammi may be entering the race for Team Wing Nut Racing....

If those two are in the same vehicle this has carnage written all over it! Someone better wake up LeRoy

We have a game plan for that already. Thanks, I wish we could of got there sooner, but he cant miss any more school right now.

i wont be there til early sat morning also.bringing some techs from honda cars of hickoery with me for support.if we get there early enough can we see/walk drive the course?

I guess we are out. We are sitting on the side of the road broke down with a bad trannie. Thanks for the.chance and we will catch you later

Just got all the assorted junk home. The trannie went completly out with out warning on my tow rig, for the 4th time in 3 years. When the wrecker came it was a small rollback for a car, not gonna work on a 7000lb xtra cab long bed F250. Then I had to get my wife to come and pick me and Dylan up. After I got home I had to borrow a truck and go get my 40" gooseneck trailer and the sammi. It made for one long day. On a side note I know where a F250 with a bad transmission is for sale LOL.

Big thanks to everyone at ECORS for the experience, chance to race.
had a decent start, about half way down the drag strip straight my rear d shaft pulled out of the transaxle.pulled over and finally beat it back in with a d-ring,on my 2nd lap i spotted many race rigs off the course broke down ,about half way threw the 2nd lap climbing the slick rock i broke the rear third member and twisted the rear drive shaft in two.ended my day quickly.
All in All was a great experience and we had fun, thanks again.

Jim, thanks for bringing a drain plug, I owe ya one. Hated to see you go out so early, same problem I had with that dang C-Clip not holding the driveshaft inat the March DPG race.

Long day, some VERY good racing in all 3 classes. CONGRATS to Rob/Ron for putting on a show AND for being ON TIME (even an early start for C-Class).

Had fun, when's the next race? :D

Thanks Rob and Ron for this chance to race. It was one of the best weekends I've had in a long time. I'm looking forward to next season! Those who said it was all about thrashing your rig were quite wrong. It's actually more the opposite, it's holding your rig together to finish the race. I learned a lot of valuable lessons during the race, such as controlling your adrenaline; it is very important. Racing likes this takes a LOT out of you physically and you definitely need skill. You can't just point and floor it. I'm am so sore, bruised and abused it's not even funny. It was all quite worth it. Had a blast, thanks again ECORS!

Also, big thanks to Tony (RenegadeT) for co-driving and allowing me to co-drive for him. Thanks to Snappy, Dylan and Greg for all the advice and help with the race. Greg gave me some water for my windshield washer and a sausage biscuit for the belly. :D Looking forward to racing with you guys next year.

Should the Selected Driver not finish, well, they will have had a great time, memories to last a lifetime and earned a new found respect for the veterans of this inaugural series. Not a bad day at the track....

This was the case for all the contest winners wasn't it? :D

I was looking at the results from this last race, in particuliar with class A. The first half of the field to start were most of our seasoned racers. The second half with the exception of Snappy was a group of guys racing for the first or second time....

The results are amazing! Nearly all of the seasoned guys finished or made it to the last lap or 2. Most of the first-timers were done after at most 5 laps. I think this shows skill, control, and experience gained thru the 2010 season. Its def. far from point and go!

Lets get you guys signed up early in 2011 and get some more racers for the season and get some good experienced competition for some of 2010's racers!

Definitely experience at play. These guys have been racing hard all year and they know how to be competitive and keep their rigs together.

That and they already replaced all the stuff that broke with new parts! :flipoff2:

I'm a definite for next year even if I have to sell Dylan to a sweat shop!
