SOA-talk to me like I'm stupid

Okay one more question. So I sat on my hands all week as far as the jeep goes b/c of work and need to finish this thing up asap. I know I purchased the not so perfect set of perches. I bought the standard 30 perches from ruffstuff then looked at the axle (BRILLIANT!) and see that the stock are offset. I've gotten mixed reviews. Some say I can just trim the ones I have and set them on top of the housing. Would this be satisfactory strength wise. Sorry I'd rather ask you guys and get a real straight answer and not the wishy washy crap I've gotten from every other :poop: board

Thats what I did with mine. Just heat the cast section good and hot with a torch before welding.

Nice set up your doing, I am about the same as your going. But from experience buy or make a traction bar now b/c you are going to have terrible axle wrap like I did. I like the way its coming and will watch the thread to see if you have any ? I can answer. Good luck on finishing her up!

hell, just drop it off here at the shop and let me put some rockwells and 56in goodyear rice and cane tires under it

Nothing yet minus the fact that I'm craving for the last parts to show up. Its been like 2-3 weeks since I've driven my pos and hopefully having it all welded up on monday. Its like crack and I need my fix :huggy: my front shackle is leaning in but we had major probs getting the centerpin to go home since the axle or body seemed to rotate alil during install. Hopefully its fine
