You stare that little freak right back in the eye and remember what ole Erik Testerman always says at a time like that...
"Have you paid your dues, Erik?"
"Yes sir, the book is in the mail."
(And its toxic masculinity is gonna blow you away.)
So what is this? This is the sequel to the great American science-fiction western that was published last fall. See here for the thread.
Don't worry, there ain't any, "What was the writer thinking when he used the color of blood in the opening scene?"
Nope, none of that garbage your English Teachers went over back in school as they ruined you from reading for pleasure.
Just good old fashioned story telling of finely crafted action/adventure, where bullets fly, dinosaur's die, and people get punched in the face. And there is no hidden meaning. Anywhere.
What you read is what you get.
And it's glorious.
The E-Book/Kindle version came out this morning. The Paperback version will be out in a couple of weeks.
Enjoy.
P.S. If you didn't get the Big Trouble In Little China reference, shame on you. (I had a hard time figuring out which quote to butcher.)
