Spin off of the strangest tool thread

Everytime I buy tools from the truck, the guy gives me one. Good thing, seeing as how I leave one under the hood of every other car I work on.
 
Without a doubt, tape measures.. we must have 6 of 'em in Rob's shop, and can never find a single on when we're looking for 'em.

oh, and 1/4" drive 12mm socket. Waited a year to buy a replacement, found the one I lost a week later.
 
mine would probably be a flashlight..i can never find the damn thing when i need it...

Holy crap yes.

And tape measures...

...if you leave about 12" of tape pulled out of 'em though and stand them straight up wherever you use them they're easy to spot if you look across the shop....I say that...but constantly forget to leave them pulled out.
