Steel toe boots question

I wear 16 wide so I don't have a ton of options, but for work I wear Redwing Worx Steel Toe Boots. They aren't as comfortable as the regular (non steel toe) Timberlands I wear wheeling/out and about (have had the pair I wear now for 5 years, been wearing timberlands 11 years). But the Red Wings seem to be holding up well to work abuse, so a pair of Doctor Sch. inserts fixed the comfort thing..

Rocky's all the way.I work on a concrete floor 8 and a half hours a day.And I'm a big man ,so my feet take a beating.I hope this helps.

I have a pair of Pull on Dura Shock's and Lace up Georgia Boots

I get them free at work so I try what I can....still don't have a clear favorite
BUT I hated a pair of steel toe tennis shoes I brought once. They don't hold up to metal chips and the sole wore out in about 6 months

Doc marten's...Only brand not mentioned at this point afaict

Don't buy Justins....they fall apart real fast

As soon as I saw the title my first thought was, "Here comes the Timberland vs Red Wing debate again."

I wear the 8" Bates with the quick zipper and composite toe. I had to add insoles, but they've been going strong for almost two years now. Not bad since I practically wear them 16 hours out of the day every day. My next pair will be something that breathes better though. Might choose a slip-on since these take too long to get out of when a call comes in.
