yes but they havent payed the payment yet for last month andd this month because of it and she wants me to pick it up
 
So it got stolen/hidden by someone who actually owns it, and they stopped making payments on it? This is so confusing.

Are they purposefully trying to wreck their credit or get the bank to repo it to hurt the other person?

Why do people do all this petty immature crap? They're adults, they should act like it...

Dude Start over and explain what the hell is going on. So is there a stolen vehicle report or not? Is the jeep in her name or his? Who was supposed to make payments him or her? Who has stopped making payments him or her?
 
Sounds like he sold the jeep to her/him and allowed them to make payments. If he signed title over to them he really is just SOL. If it is still in the OP's name and he has a record and document of the sale and payments up till this point. He could report it stolen (maybe). Any way around it's gonna be mess for anyone involved

Here is the real question:
"why are we even debating the details of this here?"

The details of who owns what, who should be paying what, what kind of report was filed, what color is her hair and the price of tea in China... all irrlevant to us.

The only thing we, the NC4x4 community need to know is - look out if you see this Jeep for sale somewhere b/c it has a big hairy story behind it that you don't want to get caught up in. Out of courtesy let the OP know and she'll pass word on to her friend.
End of story.

Nah I dont think he sold her anything.
Sounds like a female friend of his is going through a divorce and crying because her ex took "her" Jeep or really wants "his" (the ex) Jeep just to really show him...

Sounds like OP wants to be the knight in shining armor to get the jeep back to earn the admiration of the fair maiden.
 
To the OP, don't get in the middle of this, sounds like it will get messy and before you know it you will get a summons or served some kind of papers...
