i put theives and liars in the same category. usually the same thing. Give the system a chance to dealwith him. if not let a few choice rednecks know. justice may come?

to easy....they should have to do some manual labor first. Maybe build the gallows first. I fear we would be over run with them in short order and run out of trees or rope.

I think inmates should have to be put to work for trash clean up and several other things. They should be earning what they receive behind bars.
The average cost/year for inmates is over $30k with some states being closer to $60k. The ones that aren’t high risk should be put to so much work they do not want to go back, and that the state get some sort of return by means of clean roadways and such. There is enough trash on the roads in my county to keep them busy 6 days a week. They could do landscaping maintenance too.
Repeat offending theives and violent offenders should get death by public hanging. Working on trash duty and you get mouthy or out of line, you get shot on site.
If people truly feared going to jail I think they’d consider their actions a bit more.
