Stuck in Carthage, need trailer tires!

I had this issue at URE one time. Was heading into town and passing a "thrift shop" I saw some out side. Bought every one they had for $20 each. I kept 4 spares for that trailer. I sold it with all 8 tires and rims a long time ago. Been wracking my brain on who might have some. If you strike out up that way let me know Carthage isn't too far from URE is it? There is a MH supply or hardware shop in Hartsville I can swing by there on the way to URE tomorrow. seven 7 two 5 five 9 8896

Hoping that he can find at least a couple tires in the morning so that he can limp the trailer to my place. Then we'll see if we think the empty trailer will make it back to Greenville or not.

There's a possibility it'll be on my trailer and headed to G-vegas soon!

I need to rack up a few hundred more miles to get to my initial 5000 mile transmission service anyway :D

If you were closer to the foothills, I have plenty of those at the farm i think. Also, If you really hate that trailer I can put it to use.

I do hate this trailer. But with a little TLC it will be fine for local transport as I don’t have anything else to haul the dozer with.

Fair nuff. Thats what I had in mind. Would be good for moving tractors and such.

Dozer made it to Greenville safe and sound with the help of some awesome forum members.

It truly is a great community we have here. I’d probably still be stuck 3 hours from home if it wasn’t for everyone here. I would have found my way, but it would take forever and/or would have been extremely costly.

So for everyone that helped or made a call or a text or even a comment on the thread to keep the conversation going, I really appreciate it!

This was after loading up, chaining down, and shooting the breeze with @untchabl

Nice to meet you John and congrats again on the baby child!

I got home about 11:45 after dropping my trailer at my dad's old place. Me and @rockcity made some tracks tonight. I'm glad to be back and get that trailer unhooked. It'll beat you to death when it's empty.

After further thought, I may be interested in getting rid of the trailer. It’s just not really set up for me and after seeing Jake’s trailer in action, I have my search started for a comparable trailer. :D

Get a better trailer, ideally with 17.5s. And get a wood deck tilt. You won't regert it.

Especially for a dozer. The breakover on ramps and a dovetail can be sketchy with no brakes!
