So yesterday it rained at my house, last night it got below freezing, a rational person would assume that my second story shaded deck may be slippery this morning. Well this guy right here had not had any coffee yet and it was dark and I go to walk out on the deck (barefoot, yes I know...) and I slipped and probably very comically fell on the deck. In doing so I hit my head, scraped up my leg, but most painfully I pulled my hamstring something fierce.
My hamstring hurts to touch, like it does after you catch a major cramp. It hurts to straighten, and it hurts to bend. I only get relief in about a 45 degree angle, and only when I am sitting on the edge of a chair so the hamstring is not being pushed on by the chair.
So what can I do for this? I am supposed to head to the App game tomorrow and then off to hunt in a tree stand all next week (been looking forward to this for a year). Ice? Wrap? Whiskey?
