Surgery!

i believe you have deff hit the forsale section nail on the head right there... you might could try somewhere like galloways to see what kinda deal on a trade-in he would do...

or just hold onto them until you can atleast get it on the trail...

work looks super good though... wanna build something for me? haha

Sure. I do some work for others, just incase you weren't being comepletely sarcastic. The typed word sometimes doesn't come accross quite like we mean. When this build stage gets done I hope to get a focused effort going on something more to work out of, I'm currently very limited on space. When it's foul weather I'm out of the game entirely. I'm horrible with recalling names and the whole sig. thing just keeps me confused as hell on the who's who. Have we met? I've made a few new aquaintences here and their but I don't see to many people on a regular basis so I'm trying to put a name to a face.

dug this up to say: a little more work has been done.
Shock towers got cut up and modified.
Rears mounted on tube through bed opening (fender well or lack therof)
3x4x1/4 wall sliders and tube mounting points.
More wiring
Next custom aluminum hood. The verdict is still out on a min. cowl or luvours stamped in a bogger tread pattern? What do ya'll think on that one?
But first some retro threading.......from Tellico...

Your recentered HUMMMMER wheels looks sweet. Hood Sat. then we get to go play!

Damn, you do real nice work. Keep checking for sale adds and you can get a set of used 36's/38's for what you can sell those new 34's for. I've got a set of ford radius arm coil retainers laying around if you want them, fwiw.

Thanks, are you talking about the factory cups that are bolted on at the bottom on stock coil sprung Fords? I've got those on the bottom but I'm not familiar with anything else. Can you put a picture up of them? I've limited the down travel (currently by shocks only) to eliminate front driveline binding. The Classic Bronco axle is low pinion so that hinders it a little. The tires are too small for the lift but the axles have the smaller joint. I'm not going bigger til I can upgrade those. I may just keep it small due to the remaining stock driveline. Who knows, I'm reaching the point where I just want to wheel it some. I'm a stickler on doing things best I can on my budget, so I don't build mine very fast.

Just a few shots from today, sorry I didn't get more. I'll have to charge the video cam's battery for the next time out :bounce:

Thanks, guys. One or two things need alittle tweeking. Got to build some bead locks, and redo my radius mounts. Got A good idea on the mounts and a near flat bottom skid. Need some wheels though.

Looking good drew! Did you get the hood done?
Here's the close ups on that hood.....

Its all .088 aluminum, and Mr. Beard was a big help. He was with me all day for the extra set of hands and eyes while working it out. More than once he kept me on the "Keep It Simple Stupid" build plan. I wanted so bad to over do it with some funky hand formed louvers or something of the sort. Clean seems to work well with the rest of the build.

man good job building that. looks good. love the bed design.
