when it recoiled, there was one part of his cable that wrapped around the outside of the bumper and up into the car, so like 8 or less inches exposed cut right in the middle, it's pretty funny

were you guys not using a cable weight of some sort on the line? Simple sock full of sand would do. A rogue winch line can rip an arm or leg right off.
