Haha I’m still a dude. That’s my wife, she has all the tattoos as of now.

The guys at modern electric are absolute artists in every definition. Extremely professional and easy going. It also helps their shop is practically across the street from mine.

They also do laser removal there as well.

One of sams is a coverup, but I won’t say which one.

I go to Ryan Mills up in Asheville. He was at Rising Sparrow, but is now at Girl & Goblin. He's actually from Jacksonville/Swansboro. Headed up this Friday to get two more. Gunna be in Canton at my cousin's house all weekend too if anybody is around and wants to meet up.

That was my first one. Took 6.5 hrs. I'm hooked. Next two are left inner bicep and inside of my left forearm.

I don't have pics of mine, too ashamed to post them if I did looking at this work. Mine look like prison tats compared to these. This is amazing work. Seriously jealous, makes me want to get more, or at least have someone either touch-up/update/cover the ones I have.
 
So I’m going to get another completely random tattoo in a couple weeks when I get out of the field. In 2012 I was shot through the left leg in Afg. It came in the front and exited the hamstring right below my “cheek”. For years I have always joked about getting a tattoo beside it. I’m making it happen! This is gonna get done on the back of my hamstring lol.

Fresh from today! Took about 5 hrs. Got lucky and another person there was free this evening to do the other one I want. My dude had a girl that drove up from Texas to get some work and had forgotten to book me for the full day, but no big deal! I'll post a pic when it's done.

Here's the other one. That sweet meat feels like some fresh ground hamburger meat right now, but I still sit like a rock. This one took around 4 hrs. I've been up since 5am after driving in and going to bed at 1. I'm about to crash pretty hard once I get back inside...so glad I didn't have to drive 6 hrs back home afterwards this time.

I've been trying to find pictures of my tattoos. And only found a couple. Guess I need to take some more pics.

Anywho. Here's me as a totally bad ass 19 year old getting my first ink. (You can see the front of my sexy '86 Chevy S-10 in the window behind me.)

Cliff, Ian, as of now. Whitey in the future, and Marc for the piercings.

Cliff does traditional style, he has done the arm with pirate ship, lighthouse and waves, owl mandala on back, and cherry blossom tree on back & side.

Ian does more realism and did the other arm with the wolf, Indian, and flower on upper arm etc.

Whitey is great also, just hasn’t done anything for us, but his work is on par.

Not a fan of Nate there.....

Yep. That's a distorted skull with a flaming credit card in its teeth.

Next time I go back up, she's going to add some more background and details. Probably a name and numbers on the card, some more definition, and a little more shading. She wants it to heal up first though.

Side note...with this fast and aggressive onset of arthritis I've been dealing with, it's a literal pain to sit/lay for tattoos now. Not cool!

Just booked a full day with my guy.

Can't wait to get my face tattoo.

It's gonna be of a mechanized scorpion fighting a WWII pin up doll, while Japanese cherry blossoms bloom in the back ground, and paratroopers drop from the sky, and a GI with a flame thrower lights up a penguin perched on my right eyelid.

Awesome.

Or... maybe... I'll just cover this hideous barb wire tattoo that I got when I was 19 and badass.
