The 35 minute texting thread got me wondering...

How many ways can you communicate directly via your cell phone?

Good Lord. Why?

I own a few websites that I can create as many email addresses as I want so I use them to sort things. I have email addresses that I use on forums (like this one), I have one for Facebook, one for twitter, one for Pinterest, and so on. I have a metal fab business that I'm starting that I have a few email addresses for as well as a couple that I use online if I think there is a chance of spam from them... oh, and my work email address.

Not hard to keep up with them though, I have one email reader to rule them all.

It sounds like Jeepster lives in a little house on the prairie.................or wants to.

PLus I use my phone to control the GoPro in the Jeep.

And I use MyTracks to save my routes offroad.

I have one email, I text, and I call. Texting works when I'm on the go or just a short checking in. I text my girlfriend thru out the day here and there but I call in the evening. She used to hate talking on the phone but I don't always communicate well thru text. You can't hear someones tone, sarcasm, or really get how they meant something in a text sometimes.
I deleted Facebook back in November. I really don't feel the world was meant to be that connected, too many people that don't really care but want to know what your up to so they can talk about it.
Without Facebook I'm really off the grid. I figure the people that still care and want to know what I'm up to will make a point to contact me. I like calling a friend I haven't spoke to in weeks and catching up with them. It's more genuine and personal.

On the downside I meet lots of great people that ask if I'm on Facebook and since I'm not its not as easy to keep up with them. I've debated making a new one but I just don't know. Life is easy without it.
