Why? Shady Valley is soooo much closer, and has more turns.
Honestly though, I'm becoming a HUGE fan of track days vs. riding at 10/10ths on the road.
The Mille and I parted ways at 70-80 mph, and I walked away unharmed. There's a good chance that wouldn't be the case in the land of guardrails, oncoming traffic, trees, dropoffs, cops, etc...
But, I'll probably go do it anyway, I'm dumb like that..
Shady sucks now. I live in Boone and used to go ride a few times a week. Now the cops are soooo bad there, not to mention the cops on bikes that they have there now. Still a fun place to ride but chill out some if you plan on going. Deals gap is fun but track days are the way to go for hard rideing. 181 is a favorite around here. The bikes looks good rich.
