The Barter System

I do dry ice blasting and sand blasting work. always willing to trade work for parts. I also work on jeeps out of my garage from time to time. (small things like sye installs, lift installs, ect)

How far away are you from Fayetteville,NC? I might need some sand blasting done soon. If I don't have anything to trade. How much you charge and how big of a piece can you do?

I can do gear installs, any kind of bolt ons, welding, milling, lathe work.
I can also do bulldozer and tractor work (scraping, leveling, grading, bushogging, clearing, etc), and have a dumptruck with an 8x12' bed that can haul up to 4 tons.

And, Im currently unemployed, so I have plenty of time.

Yeah we need to get up! I plan to change out my gears so I could use ya there. Also, the dumptruck - Our gravel culdesac has become a mud pit and anyone in a 2wheel drive gets stuck. Any chance on getting some gravel and helpin out with the driveway? Ill check with the landlord to see if I can get ya paid. Otherwise we can barter. I work on computers so if ya need one fixed let me know.

website updated!

was able to get the website updated.

thanks!

Well, Ill throw in my hat as well......Im a photographer. Will shoot portraits (kids, seniors, bridal, maternity, family), product shots, weddings, as well as historic subjects such as houses, reenactments, etc.

I need some steel products for the TJ...rocker guards specifically. Id also like to get the gears swapped out sometime before the spring gets here.

So, make your wife happy....get some family portraits done and help me get some rocker guards.

I have a website: www.cchristophermorgan.com

Currently I only have my wet-plate site up, but the newly designed portrait site will be up, hopefully by late, late tonight.

Thanks!
Chris

What the hell, there's not much use of my skills outside commercial industry but I can service pretty much anything that prints from a computer.
I'm always in need of a few things or help with my TJ, ZJ and sammy.

I am a vendor for about 16 or so dealerships in the RTP area.

I fix water leaks, wind noise and sunroofs for them.

Mostly on later-model vehicles, not antique stuff, but if anyone has water getting into their truck or wife's car, I can look at it for you.

I mostly do my own work on my Jeep restoration, but do need a few things fabbed, and have a few odd carpentry-type jobs around the house, too.

I will toss my skills into the ring. If you know anyone that has a fuel leak on an aircraft let me know. Qualified on many aircraft (C-5, C-130, C-17, C-141, KC-130, F-16, F-15, and A-10's). I do not think my skills will be in need to much though. I have a trailer and willing to haul/move stuff for folks

Damn, and I just sold my warthog because i just couldn't get that fuel leak stopped. Jet fuel at the corner store is easy to get too.

I sure would like to get an A10...

Well if anyone has elderly parents who are having difficulty getting around, using the bathroom facilities, etc, or a family member who is disabled, I can help recommend equipment, give design assistance for modifications, etc. Some of it is pretty common-sense, but there's also a lot of really cool & helpful stuff out there that many people have never heard of. I'm not an ADA guru, but I reference it a LOT and can also help offer suggestions if your church, business, etc, needs to be more accessible/ADA certified, etc...
Also if any of those people are trying to find a job or pursue education I can set you up with a counselor in our office.

Currently trying to find someone who can boil out & recoat an old Ford tractor gas tank...and also have a set of 4 old crusty wheels that need blasting & powder coating...in the Hickory area

I'll throw my hat in the ring, as well. I can do network/pc support for your home or small office (anything from helping set up a network to getting rid of viruses to building computers). I am a network admin (have been for 10 yrs) and have my A+, Net+, MCSA (2003) certs. If that doesn't work for you, I can also do simple handyman work or provide a (somewhat) strong back for grunt work.

Currently need help with an aftermarket Holley 2300 carb on my 75 IH Scout II and/or floor pan repair on the same vehicle.

If you need upholstered leather furniture let me know. I trade for whatever the hell is interesting but need a 4x4ATV or any hunting items. PM please

How about this, I need and external Storage Drive. My Hard Drive is getting full, so I'm looking for something in the 300G + range. Used is fine, just as long as it's damaged.

will trade for Graphics Work.

PM me

I'm a licensed electrical contractor & always willing to help/barter......

If someone buys a sewing machine (industrial grade) I will redo their upholstery in whatever they have. Truck, car, boat, camper. I did canvas work for years. Just don't have a machine. Have a garage to work out of. Let's make a deal. I buy the material you buy the sewing machine.

Just curious, what does an industrial grade machine cost?

Do you really want a damaged one, or should there be a "not" in there?

LOLZ, great typo

Well, as it turns out - I believe I have one that we don't use!
We got this thing at a yard sale several years ago, seller knew nothing about it. We just wanted the table it was mounted in.
Turns out it's pretty clear it wasn't originally made for a std small folding sewing table, and it has no on/off-switch or any labels, and very stout mechanisms. Pretty sure it was designed for/used on an assembly line of some kind. Just plug it on and it goes, lol.
I can try and dig up some info on it if need be. We sure didn't pay much for the thing.

Unf I'm in MD, so most services are out, but I could probably think up some misc items I could use.
