The Barter System

Well, as it turns out - I believe I have one that we don't use!
We got this thing at a yard sale several years ago, seller knew nothing about it. We just wanted the table it was mounted in.
Turns out it's pretty clear it wasn't originally made for a std small folding sewing table, and it has no on/off-switch or any labels, and very stout mechanisms. Pretty sure it was designed for/used on an assembly line of some kind. Just plug it on and it goes, lol.
I can try and dig up some info on it if need be. We sure didn't pay much for the thing.
Unf I'm in MD, so most services are out, but I could probably think up some misc items I could use.

Post up a few photos of this thing. I'm in MD relatively often and could bring it back. My scout could use a new interior :gitrdun:

I am in need of some hardwood flooring installed in my master bedroom, hallway and walk-in closet. I do all types of mechanic work, lift installs, etc. Let me know.

ive got Dylan in mind for a small job....i havent forgotten about ya Dylan things just moving slower than i thought.

Muffler bearing...

that joke isnt funny anymore...Volkswagen ruined. in their parts manuals they list a muffler bearing. it was a mistranslation for the bushing that goes in the hanger.

I need a lift pump installed in my '97 PSD pretty soon. It still drives but leaks like a MOFO. I really don't want to pay for 6.5 hrs of labor at a shop and can get the part from a buddy who works at AA. Let me know if you can help me out. The closer to Raleigh the better.
Thanks!

Our mechanic may want to do it on the side. He does some of our personal vehicles on the side, but we're in Greenville. So, you'd have to bring it down here...

And, he has great diesel experience. all of our crew trucks are diesel and every crane is diesel, so he gets plenty of diesel experience :D

I work in furniture, mainly upholstery but can get casegoods as well. High end, brand name but I can usually swing some deals.

I could always use help working on my Montero collection so I guess I will throw my hat into the ring.

Skills wise are mostly on the computer side of things. Majored in IT/Networking Security but my side main work is in graphic/web design and computer building. Family company was in concrete construction, so I may also be able to help in that area (driveways, sidewalks, basements, turn down slabs, etc).

I have a mobile welding service. I have the capability to do one off jobs, repair work on heavy equipment. Mobile processes include Tig, MIG, Stick, Aluminum, brazing, cutting and most all aspects of metal work and the like. I can do ornimental work, structral steel and pipe. I am certified in all of the processes. I am available at hours after my regular work and on call after hours as well for emergencies. I will take barter or Green Backs. I am also fully insured for 5mill liability.

I also have land clearing capabilities. Truck, bobcat, saws, etc.

I am always doing stuff around the house and would trade for possible skilled concrete work, and putting up a shed. I hope the economy turns around for everybody cause work is slow on my end also. Let me know if I can help in any way. Thanks Travis

I own a swimming pool company www.angellspools.com Would trade out for service work or pool parts.
Also operate www.highrockoffroad.com on the side.
Looking for a D60 Driverside drop, but would consider almost anything for bartering my pool stuff/service or lift/fabwork.

My '97 PSD needs a clutch, ball joints, and the a/c fixed. the a/c isn't detrimental but the first two are.
Willing to trade this for the work: http://www.nc4x4.com/forums/showthread.php?t=89975

I might break down and do the ball joints myself, just don't really feel like dealing with it.

PM me if interested.

PS. I can't drive the truck far or fast.. the ball joints are on the verge of failure...
