The best Jeep

pfffft "Slappy's Jack 'er Up" is my garage.... Spend all the money you want, you still wont have the clout as the guy who built his rig.

...... BUILT not bought......

goes a long way in our community, but we dont hang around the malls sooo........

Damn, bunch of jk haters round here.

I love my dd rubicon! Lift, winch, leather, and all. I don't need or want to drive my truck every day. So jk works perfect for me. And as it gets some age on it, I intend to use it offroad, ure camping etc.

Trail rigs: getting ugly dudes laid since 19??

I like the AEV rims....

...... what you guys are forgetting is, most of the people reading this article think curb hopping is going "off-road". The Jeep JK has become more of a "look at me I've got disposable income" icon than a true Jeep. All these companies are riding the bandwagon to make as much money as possible off these idiots that are willing to pay 15k on top of the vehicle cost. Hell I'd do it too.... Sucks for people like us b/c it drives up the cost of the tires and accessories that we like to use for their purpose... not because they're "pretty".
couldn't agree more.

My 16 year old drove our stock 98 Limited up Daniel I guess he's an expert driver then!

makes perfect sense......

I agree! I miss the old days with Tom Boyd, John Hughbanks, Keith Bailey, Sam patton, Tim Hardy, etc. The new participants are cool but the rigs of yesteryear really captured my imagination. Those were real world backyard builds that took inginuity, late nights, busted knuckles and dedication to build. I love the UA for keeping it down to earth for the most part. Its the everyday average rigs I'll always have admiration for. Keep your $60k JKs!
