Ok guys I have been waiting to post this thread for awhile so here is what I have done to my lj so far 4 inch lift fox 2.0 shocks on all 4 corners and rock krawler disconnects . For recovery 9500 quadratec winch and a yj warn front bumper . I like the yj bumper better then the tj/lj version I'm picky haha. Thanks Mars fab for making that work and a red rock off-road rear bumper. Now for the good stuff I'm having a bad ass cage built by EOF or 95jeepyj as you guys know him by. Chad does amazing work as the pics to follow will show and what we have all drooled over when reading his postal build. 95jeepyj it's all yours from here

Okay. Lets get some photos up here. You guys may know me from my Gone Postal build. Well, Brett's jeep has waited patiently while I finished my paint job so I could make it on the Crawl Magazine ride.

This is how Brett's jeep looked when delivered to my shop. Our long term plan is to weld in a mid-arm aluminum link setup, SYE, full roll cage, dana 44 front axle, etc. It's a really clean jeep he plans to daily drive and take 4-wheelin' with the whole family.

First up is the roll cage. I'm building another LJ cage for another customer at the same time.

I really like the Motobilt stanchion kit for TJ/LJs and I used these on a TJ I built a cage for earlier in the year so I figured, if it isn't broke, don't fix it. They fit tight to the windshield. It's a great product. This is after I welded the brackets all together and installed.

Some tube progress. Still lots of bracing, b-pillar, harness bar, etc to add so don't worry about no triangulation right now. It'll be plenty! I promise. I re-attached the factory speaker pods for a factory look.

Thanks Brett! Here are a few photos to update the build. The cage is about ready to be welded. I still have to modify the factory plastic door surrounds and make a bracket for the factory soft top to bolt to the cage. Simple stuff!

Time for some photos!

Wow! Thanks Brett! I'll get some updated photos of it this weekend.

I'll update this thread a little. Cage is done and currently getting powder coated. Should have it all buttoned shortly.

Welds from the top of cage.

Modified the factory brackets so the factory soft top works as it should.

Trimmed the plastic so the windshield area looks clean and not butchered.

Picking this bad boy up Friday I can't wait guys just waiting for powder coat. Chad did a amazing job and is great to work with. Can't wait till this winter when we do the aluminum mid link and axle swap. May go Dana 60s front and rear if I can get a set for good deal. If so I plan to highline it and put it on 40's if so then 37s will be for sale.
