I thought the same thing, this is my brothers rig its in Ohio.
Sam, Wes just got his Ham Operators license, thats something else that will be going in the truck but not before our trip. This is just a trip for fun. Bigwoody's brother is in Guatemala doing mission work, we are going to try to see him if time permits.

"Guatemala" and he's in seminary down there, not to worry though he still can lead you to the local watering holes. The dude still enjoys a frosty one. He's lived there for the last 15 years or so and always rolls fully strapped anywhere he goes, yall be careful.

still snowing in Ohio, Wes got the rest of the 12v recepticles from West marine in so those should be installed in the next couple of days.

a few updates. Wes is getting it all back together, hi lift is mounted to the roof rack, the fridge is in, and the action packers are in place. I wish I was in Ohio helping him finish up. He's leaving for texas tommorrow and I'm flying out Fri morning to meet him in Houston, then making a run for the border.

wow, be safe and have a great time. should be really cool once you clear mexico, what a toilet! I know there are some beautiful places there but be SAFE down there.

Very cool! My brother-in-law has SPOT also, but hasn't used it to track like this yet. However, I did get the SPOT text messages saying he was "ok" on a camping trip.

Nice toy to have on a trip like this.
 
I got the wrong idea with the title, haha.

Anyways looks like fun, I'm alittle weary about mexico right now but in the backwoods it should be just fine.
