Not to change topic...Birth control... I think the govt should offer 5000.00 to anyone over 18 to be sterilized. male or female. Imagine who would take that offer. Probably the people who don't need to reproduce anyway. It costs more than 5k to have a baby, then we have to support it and it's keeper.

Now this I do agree with. If the offer was that high I would do it. I already have a 1 1/2 year old and that's all I want.

The world would stop reproducing if this was offered. I think everyone would jump on that. Then you would get child abductions later on down the road when these people decide they want to have babies. Pretty much everything you try on society looking for handouts will snowball into a bad situation. I hate to be pesemistic but ya have to realize, ya cant fix stupid (or buy it off).

(Not saying having kids is stupid) Just pointing out that its crazy to have one kid you cant afford and keep makin babies then expect the government to bail you out (like they do with everything else). :shaking:

I think it should only be offered to people who already have kids.
