the new whip...91' MJ (comanche)

are those bucket seats stock??? I have never seen an MJ with buckets and a console.

also, what are your plans for the 2wd ax-15???? I would be interested in it for my 2wd MJ project.

really hard to find pics of it now, cause its so old. I used to have a bunch back in the day. haha

is that custom done or factory never seen one from the factory, but one of my buddys has one he built out of a xj

thats a chopped xj with the rear hatch moved behind the rear seat and an MJ tail gait. There are tons of them out there that look similar. Some done nicely and some look terrible. That one looks nice.

Nice MJ you got there. Thats a heck of a find. I've never seen one look that nice inside and out.

This particular one was built by AEV (American Expedition Vehicles) around 98-99...One of the first done that way. This was one of their SEMA flagship vehicles long before the brute. At that time they were also building the LWB jeeps which I'm sure led to the production of the LJ.

Not stock, I believe they are bestop or similar. Just an XJ console. PM on the way about the tranny...

nice little truck. i think you made a better choice than the blazer. Good luck with it.

no picked them on CL, and AEV didnt sell me the caps....
csudman and I made them.

I'm not sure on lift yet. I picked up some upper and lower adjustable control arms. I would like to to do 3" Hell Creek. I have the 2wd leaves and would rather do SOA in the rear but I'm afraid it will end up taller than I want. By the time I get a nice track bar, buy the 3" lift and plus the CA's i bought that would be $1000 in a 3" lift, which is just crazy to me. I might just throw some 2" spacers in the front and do a shackle in the rear (if needed). Its got about 2" rake now.

had to toss on a budget boost to clear the new tires...

actually sits pretty level, if not a tiny rake to the front. The pic makes it look like the rear is droopy, but the driveway is sloped a little.
