The raging debate in our house right now... since around now is the time of year this movie always pops up.
Is it a Halloween movie, or a Christmas movie?

Related - prevailing conspiracy theory is that Jack is actually the skeleton of The Grinch after he died, and Max turned into Zero. At least this is a 7-year old girl's theory...

came here to see if this was about the movie or that stores already have Christmas stuff out..lol..

your girl seems smart as hell... I think that is totally plausible...I consider it a Christmas movie myself.

I've never heard of this.

Never watched it. Stop-action movie. Always hated those. (Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer always freaked me out as a kid. the way the "fur" would randomly move. And the way Yukon Cornelius would lick that damn pick axe o_O)

But from the previews I always ASSUMED it was a halloween movie

Halloween movie that can also be watched at Christmas time. I assume that Disney considers it a Halloween movie since it the season that the Haunted Mansion gets a Nightmare overlay for Halloween.

I can’t believe all the people that say they’ve never seen it. I think it is a great movie. I watch it in October and December.

And I like the theory @RatLabGuy ’s offspring came up with. I’ll ha e to share that with my 13 year old daughter, she is all about movie conspiracies.
