I had the chassis started by M&M Offraod and I'm going to dress it out myself with a little help.

Sooo... is this just an extra to go alongside the Basement Wheeler, or a replacement?

And... I know you're not tall but I think the roofline on that chassis is a little low...

Replacement the basement wheeler is gone. As far as the roof line goes, I have a new item in the shop I'm wanting to mess around with, we purchased a tube roller just for this project. Going be be alot smaller and looking to come in at under 3000lbs.

I know it's still way early in the build, but fight the urge to run the intake/filter straight back into the cab or you won't be able to hear a thing while the sc's turning.
How much did your old one weigh?

tube roller? I'm jealous. Did you get the pro-tools one? This looks to be a cool build, I didn't realize you had all of that stuff already. This is coming along quick!

Never wieghed it guessed around 4000lbs.
Nope got a Harbor freight, going to convert to electric with foot control.

heard good things about that, there is someone on pirate making different dies for it too. snappy pm me you phone number ill call you sometime. a lot happened since ure cross

swag off road makes the dies.. they are preety cheap but still you will pay more for one set than you did for the roller. ive got the same roller i would like to see your electric set up cause that ship wheel will wear you out.

ncgamedog has a pimp set of all. beadlocks 6 lug for sale.
I really want them but buying all this other stuff has broke the bank for a few weeks!

I plan on running a gear reduction box to a chain setup with a clamp on the top(were the ship wheel goes). Then I paln on using a foot pedal to run it back and fourth. It will be a while before this setup is done, I'm gathering the best kind of parts(free ones!) to make the setup.

700r4 to toyota adpater. Now the tranny goes out for rebuild and install the new output shaft then it's on to mock up.

Looks like some good plans snappy! If that 3800sc works good, I might fix one up for my rig. I wanted to do it, just didnt wanna have to deal with the harness at the time, and I thought it was heavy.

Got a little more done today. In the past few weeks I've gathered shocks, Tranny is rebuilt ready to be picked up, few other little things picked up. Made a place to mount the front upper links today. This is nothing that different, I copied PJ's setup since I got his old axles and the starter chassis from him. The bottom plate is 1/4 and the upper is 16ga(I think, not super heavy, not super thin).

This is were it stands for now. Next step is to bolt the tranny to the motor and tcase to the tranny then mount it in the chassis. Hope to have this done by next weekend.

Here pics of the motor, trans, and transfer cases in there. I'm still going to put one more mount on the rear of the transfer cases.
