Left plenty of room in front of the motor for rad and winch mount.

There is about 2 inchs under the tranny pan to the bottom bars when I build the belly pan it will cover the oil pan also. It sits abount one inch above being flush with the bottom bars.

shock hoops again

Redid the shock hoops again got picks of the 2nd time but have rolled the shocks back out to the outside of the tube.

Laid out one of the side bars. I will redo the vert suports when I see were the a and b pilliars fall.

Ran across a killer deal on a flexalite fan setup and alum. rad

The hood is going to be all alum from a Lexus es350. weighs nothing at all.
 
It's Sunday and got a little more done today. Got the winch mount made and welded in. It has reinforcement washer on the bottom side and will get more holes before paint.

Also finally got the front shocks laid out like I want them.

The wheels will be spaced out 2" with spacers also.
 
Motavation

I guess the wife telling you that she doesn't love you anymore and she's leaving makes you realize you just gained and assload of wheeling time and warm weather is not far off. I've been working on this thing more in the last week to keep my mind busy than I have in the last 2 months. Heres a few pics of how the cage is starting to shape up....

Then we started fitting the hood. Its a Lexus is350(I think thats right). It is alum and light as a feather. It will be trimmed up and moved back about 6" towards the rear.
