The Tax man, Book II: Granny's Demise

We are way past due on another revolution or cival war. I doubt it will happen as too many people are dependant on govt cheese, but eventually our society will collapse if drastic change doesn't occur.

For those who are too young to remember...

...please don't think that it can't happen here.

Eventually our society will collapse if motherfawkers don't learn how to spell.

Got the final tax bill today... $17.25 is the final figure. This is a reduction of $57.96 which is better in my pocket than the county's, and darn well worth the effort of protesting the original figure. :huggy:

To me a property tax on a car is legal theft. When you buy a new car you pay sales tax, that should be the end of it. Whats fair is never having to pay property tax on an item that instantly and continually depreciates. I understand property taxes on homes since that helps to pay for local services related to the property to help maintain it's value in the way of fire, police, trash, etc. What the heck does paying property tax on my cars do to help it.

they can call it property tax here in NC or state inspection fees in PA but it all equals out...actually the older the car the more it favors NC.

Just be glad you don't live in PA where you have to pay 200-300 or so dollars to get your car inspected every year.

I got my taxes today for my 95 Nissan altima first year the car is in my name the grand total $7.81 cheapest I've ever had

Don, you would pass out if you knew what I pay in Fee's, tax, insurance, permits, permits, permits and other fee's! Just to hand you a Hot Dog! And when I see someone doing it illegal it really piss's me off! A couple of hundred bucks is nothing! Hell I pay the NC Motels and Hotels a fee! Still can't get a answer on that one! Good luck!

Don, first time I've seen this thread. Just to add to it, my 79 CJ
7 has been taxed for $700 valvue, for the past 10 yrs. , in Gaston Co. City/Co.+ $1 fee=$11. Was simular in Mecklenburg.
Any of Ur taxes going to debt-relief-Bruton Smith? :poop:

^^^ Terry, all I can say is: it must be worth it, or you would be a fool for doing it????

Rodney, keep this thread in mind until 2014 rolls around. Your Jeep will be 35 years old then... I will be interested to see if your taxes stay at that rate.

Don I do like doing what I do.
