That writeup on the KDP tab method is pretty good. I did one on a buddy's truck with slightly skimpier instructions and it wasn't too bad. Getting the fan and shroud back in place took longer than any other step.

A BHAF will add very little air flow. Only proven filter to show any improvement what so ever is the AFE Mega Cannon stage one.

Since you mentioned "proven"... please show the "proof"!

Not that I'm guessing said "proof" came from AFE or one of their vending minions...

ROFL , Nope missed that one didnt ya, You want dyno sheets , I'll show ya dyno sheets, VERY proven from more than one source. NOPE NOT AFE, Everyone sells afe, but other brands as well , In the said test , we ran all major brands... I'll post some dyno sheets up here before long.

PS , The BHAF dose have much better Silca Test with less pull through. I'll run one on my next dyno runs as well then switch back to a AFE!

You can run the 19.5s from a bread truck but you will have to get the centers milled out
