So my new truck has front end issues.. due to the extra side load on the axles caused by the spacer lift my spider gears are eating my carrier. So in the works is a new rough country 4.5 inch lift and some custom machine work and some hardened sleeves for my carrier. Can't wait to see the new stance which should be about 2 inches taller.

Please (for the love of God), put the rear blocks in. Dont want to see your truck end up in the douche mobile thread.

How did you know it is going bad? Just wonder if there is something I should be looking for?

Well long story short it needed a passenger side axle put new seals in it and within a week's time it was leaking fluid took it back to the shop that the work was done and they told me they could do nothing for it only thing that shows the sign of the carrier wear is a lot of movement by pulling on your axle shafts Galloway's 4 wheel drive has done 3 the same here model span.

Only other thing that you can watch for is an excessive amount of metal build up on your drain plug mine had about an eighth of an inch thick maybe more when I drained it last week

Well some good news the carrier didn't suffer much damage and only needed a needle bearing on the driver side. But just for safe measure it got a hardened spacer since it was apart. Cv will be in tomorrow and should be ready for the road after a good alignment!

Sharp lookin truck, I like the way the rts handle.
Thanks man yea I took a shot at them so far so good. I've only got a few thousand miles on them. I can tell they are starting to make a little more road noise but not a bad as some.
