There can be only 1

I have a Craftsman ratcheting wrench I bought about 16 years ago that is 1/2 on one side 9/16 on the other. Also fits 13 and 14 mm. I can disassemble 70% of the truck with that.
 
is the crescent wrench no good? no one's mentioned that guy yet.

That was one of my first picks, but I realized that an adjustable vice grips gives you the same possibilities plus a lot more.

Cuz if im stupid enuff to wander off into the woods without tools, then I must be one of those idiots tossing the beer cans all over Uwharrie and other trail systems!o_O
 
What about bringing Jesus along?
I mean if the guy can turn water to wine, or raise the dead... replacing some sheared stud bolts should be cake, right?

I wouldn't consider Jesus a "tool"
 
The 90 degree angle on the head of channel locks can reach into places that straight bodied vice grips cannot. Also, the channel locks have a higher dynamic range per squeeze of the grip, so you can undo the annoying hose clamps on radiator hoses and such.
