Think it will actually snow?

Someone needs to go to the local grocery stores and take pictures of all the empty shelves of bread, water, and milk. Only in the south can we get a couple flurries and the grocery stores run out of bread, water, and milk as if we were to be stranded for weeks....:lol:
 
I'm always a skeptic but they've been salting all the roads. I saw the salt truck spreading on I-77 today. Also all the emergency vehicles were chainin' up.

I think there is a decent chance we will have snow if all of that is happening.

If it does happen, I'm dropping a shot of whiskey in my hot cocoa and sitting by the fire all day. I dragged a crapton of firewood up from the main pile yesterday and today.
 
It's pretty much guaranteed to snow.

I have to drive the car since it was in the shop today, and if I don't get it in the morning, they'll charge me $75/day for the loaner (it's never seen salt since I bought it). Also, of the four trucks in the backyard, only one can drive; and it has bald tires.

Mocksville,statesville,w-s,clemmons area....lots of good fun and tow jobs on the interstates. That is, if it gets slick enough!

I will be riding in it, if the roads cover.

*IF* I leave the Moss covered on the trailer (and don't take it off)...

I can guarantee it will snow, measurable in FEET, so I'll be stuck driving 2WD's until Sunday... :flipoff2:
 
Well if it does snow, I'll be out on the roads too. I have to take the winch off of the wife's ride and put back on mine for the snow. I acturally took it off of my jeep last year in the middle of the snow we had!
 
supposed to head to HKY tomorrow for family Christmas time. Gonne head out this evening when the wife gets home. I should be in Laurel Springs hunting in the snow but dumbass me said ok on the last day of huntin season.

I hate driving the Excursion in the snow. 9000 lbs aint easy to stop

Well I don't know about how it is for you boy but it is balls cold here.
I'm off today and was gonna do some work in the garage. F that.

We're up to a prediction of 4+ inches tonight and 4-8 tomorrow.
My money is on 4" total.

I would normally like to see a little snow, except I found a front axle ujoint that is really bad in the diesel yesterday and I don't want to have to use 4wd.

Heading up to Bethesda, MD tonight to the wife's parents, hoping to see more than 4" cause I'm picking up an XJ when I get there. No better way to test drive it....:bounce2:
 
Ok, your right it's snowing. I guess I'll take the willys out for a run in a couple hours.
 
Was sleeting and snowing an hour ago. Now its kinda drizzling. I hope it sleets really hard and then snows 6" on top of it so that it will be good for donuts and traction.
