Think it will actually snow?

Took my dad about 6 hours to get home from statesville.

Just got back walking to pick him up, his car is stuck 2 or 3 miles from the house. Tires on the Cherokee are too bad to get out, and the Wrangler is stuck on the other side of the house, snow banks 3 feet deep from shoveling the drive way.

about 12" + at the house in Boone and still coming down. Someone slammed into and knocked over the lightpole in front of my shop and drove off! How you hit a 40ft tall metal pole and are able to drive off is beyond me. The Boone PD officer I talked to even had a WTF look on his face when I was talking to him about it.

45MPH on a saucer sled behind the ATV is one hell of a rush :)
 
The snow was hell on the Budweiser trucks today....Two of them got stuck in the parking lot....we also had 3 that had to be worked on. I know that one of them had to have the batteries replaced in the food lion parking lot in boone...I'd say we got around 10"s of snow in Hudson. Isn't it supposed to start snowing again in the morning?

The 321 bridge right before Arbys in Hickory was closed for hours due to wrecks on both sides. It took some guys I work with around 2 hours to get from Hickry to granite falls. We took the back way through RH and made the trip in about 30 minutes

looks like you may have gotten your wish, woke up this AM and already have a good several inches, predicting 8 or so today and possibly 4 more tonight.

Man I wish we were already in our new house, it has a driveway and street PERFECT for sledding.
