I'm looking to convert to the JK style turn signal/park light on TJ. I have been able to find the lamp assembly, bulb, and socket but not the electrical. I was reading that most people plug into the TJ factory bulb and socket. But unfortunately the nut job that owned this thing before cut off all the connectors and butt spliced in a trailer light. So does any one know where I can get a JK wiring pig tail or know the correct part number?

Did that very procedure last weekend following these instructions. Ordered stock JK turn signals from rockauto, and literally unplugged the bulb housing from my fender, and plugged into the back of the JK housing. But I don't know what the part number of that housing or the wiring would be. Sux they butchered it like that

I’ve done it too. Can’t help you with a part number, but I will recommend you keep plenty of cutting oil on the hole saw.

It’s funny, we’re putting the lights back where they should have always been, and now the new Wrangler is putting them back out on the flares.

Never thought about this. So all you need it the jk turn signal light? I don’t like the amber but amazon has some smoked LED’s that I like. Wondering if those would work the same way. Im about to go to tubed fenders and like this over the little micro lights people use.

You can buy the pigtail. The parts store should have it, or you can get it from Rockauto. The pigtail is Standard Motor Products S1953, and the socket is Airtex 1P1324.

For what new ones cost, you'd be better off finding somebody parting one out and have them cut it out of the harness for you.

Thanks for the help with the part numbers. No kidding on the price.

Yeah its kinda of a pain. They replaced it with these trailer lights and the bulb went out and of course you can find a matching replacement.

I have the small ones on the fender and ones on the grille, so I am doubly douche :D
you're not in the douche club...you have to have metalcloak to be considered :p
