I might have to try out some tunes from the people that did yours. My 2012 is deleted on 35's and my liometer is typically saying between 8.5 and 9.8 and hand calculations usually average around 8. I never drive it empty so no idea how it does without a load, I'm usually grossing around 17k behind the truck, no idea what the truck itself weighs. I know that I traverse more elevation leaving my driveway than you could driving through 3 counties down your way and that makes a difference, but I would love a serious mileage increase if possible.First trip on the hwy. Lieometer is at 21mpg and cruise is set at 78 for a full tank, filled up and hand calculated a little more than 16mph...
But it's got lots of power and at that speed with 35's it's at 1950 rpm. Trans tune seems happier, truck feels like it's in the right gear all the time now and she pulls better.
Before the delete I was getting 15 on the lieometer so who knows what I was actually getting.
Anyway had to go fetch this rig out of downtown South Beach Miami this morning (absolute Mayhem getting there and worse leaving with it loaded). Splashed it at a local boat ramp and ran the boat north for more testing. But the truck pulled great. That little skiff weighs 18,500...View attachment 433847

Dang. My 5.9 gets 12 loaded. But I don’t kill it. Unloaded 16-20 speed is a very big factor in my mileage. I can cut a tank in half almost by running 80/85 instead of 70/75. Notice it a lot hauling camper to beachAt 17k behind the truck I doubt you see any serious increase, although when you're in the single digits any increase helps. I average between 7 and 8 towing my dump trailer, total scale weight is just under 18k empty and usually between 23k and 26k loaded. It's also a 10ft tall brick so that doesn't help. Empty I can get north of 16 on the highway, closer to 14 in my normal mixed driving. I do have some new tunes to put in though when I can get back in the garage.
