Torc Off Road Series at the Charlotte Speedway Dirt Track

Pics from the TORC race.

My buddy Jeff that I go Baja racing with came up from Alabama with his kid and I took my Daughter. We had a blast both days! You will not find better racing or friendlier drivers anywhere else in motorsports! The kids hauled off autographed fenders and hoods from thier favorite drivers both nights. We got tshirts hats and coozies from Scott Douglas, Cassie Currie and Rob McCachren. In contrast, we went to the Roush Yates open house Sat afternoon and they were selling hoods and noses for 1000.00 bucks! If the amount of action in one lap of a TORC race took place durring an entire NazzzzzzzzzzCAR race they would call it the race of the century! He he!

You really had to be there but here's a video I found on youtube somebody shot of the final 2 laps of the PRO 4 race. It's one of the best battles I've ever ever seen in a race.

It was good to see alot of yall out there.
I left just a little bit early, but as soon as I got to the van in the parking lot..I could hear the crowd let out a huge roar...then It sounded like a big bang, like someone cased a jump or something...maybe it was when the truck landed on the other...?

Anyways...this kind of racing is badass to say the least.
I wanna play...

So wanted to go to this but i was in the hospital until 5 am Saturday morning so getting up early to make the drive wasn't happening. Been a fan of this racing since I was a youngn and was so looking forward to this but as usual my stomach said no.
