Track bar ? on YJ

The set up actually looks rebuilt and clean. May want to check the play in the steering box as well.

Yeah, don't want to throw time and money at this jeep I've been down that Rd.
Sad thing is I thought Tre was bad because boot was torn and hanging out of tre. When removing I screwed up threads with some 2lb hammer smacks. Once I got it off I found that Tre was like new because I think it is 🤭. Should have used pickle fork to remove and just replace boot. Now I know that all front end is newer and in good condition. PO must have bought the whole crossover kit from rugged ridge.
I think next I'll start checking leaf spring bushings
A little trick for you...

Don't touch the tre with a hammer. Hit the end of the knuckle square where the tie rod is with your hammer. A good rap or two and it will pop free. Then you'll never mess up a thread or boot. Works the same for ball joints.

I do the same, but with a torch :D

Ok, I installed the tre and I'm back to my investigation. Thanks for all the help getting me to this point. So far I've greased and checked torque on all shackles, frame mounts. None are binding and bushings have all been replaced. I've checked torque on all u-bolts. I've tightened steering box 1/4 turn. Any more than that and steering starts to bind in spots. Tightening steering box made the most noticeable improvement. I can drive around curves now and mostly control it....mostly. now I'm looking at geometry of steering components. Problem is I know nothing about geometry
FIRST thing I've noticed is pitman and drag link connection looks like it's a little stressed at any steering direction. Can I just back off jamb nuts and rotate link a little more so it's more in sync with angle of pitman end?
SECOND
Tie rod is touching drag link slightly where they connect. Pinch collars? are just shy of touching when wheel is completely turned left. Is offset Tre causing this and would a straight one help situation?
THIRD
Ball joints look good even new on top. Before I get alignment is there a certain type shim I should order to help with the different adjustments needed on a 4" lifted jeep? It has 35's with plenty of room. I'm just guessing at lift height.
FOURTH
Wworking around front drivers wheel I noticed that some JB weld has been smeared into a crack in hub area. Next to that I see a hole in something. Sorry I'm still learning. Any idea what's going on with that?
I took a bunch of pics hope they help y'all help me.
Thanks again
