How would you even deal with that?I keep thinking even if you were able to get a crane big enough back there withough destroying all of the underground utilities,

Just looking at it, it would seem the best bet would be to rotate the hoe 180 degrees (if possible) and then claw its way out.
You seem to be forgetting one thing,Exactly...a good operator could drive it out.

thats if the engine & hyd. system is not contaminated with mud & crapIts gonna have to be dug around with another excavator, possibly a long reach machine. Then it may be able to swing itself around to help with the extraction. That would only work if the ground doesnt just fall right back into where you just dug out. I would be suprised to see it pull out under its own power....the suction of that watery crap is gonna be really strong. When stuff gets up that high, like around the cab, its past the point of getting out under its on power. Come to think of it, the air filters are getting very close to being under the mud if they arent already. They usually sit about as high as the seat give or take a little.
Exactly...a good operator could drive it out.
Yeah, thats what i was thinking, that and WTF were they thinking?Yeah - except for one minor problem...
from the looks of it, that "good operator" has no place to sit.
The cabin is virtually buried. They're gonna have to dig it out just to get somebody back into it.
