:shaking: How would you even deal with that?

I'm thinkin thats going to take more than one crane and needless to say someones back yard is going to be fubard by the time its out.

I keep thinking even if you were able to get a crane big enough back there withough destroying all of the underground utilities, wouldn't that biotch just sink in that wet, clay looking backyard? And it doesn't look like a marine crane could get up close enough. I same bring in another track hoe and bury it. Probably cost the same.

A crane big enough to lift that rig will be big enough to sit out front on the road and reach over the house and yard. IOW, $$$$$$$.

Glad there are no pics of the stupid things I've done. ;)

Anyone on here remember the trackhoe that some idiot drove off the old bridge over Tuckertown Lake? It was in simular shape. I wish I could find the pics.

Exactly...a good operator could drive it out.
You seem to be forgetting one thing,
A GOOD operator probably wouldn't have fallen in.
So eliminating the "good" part means, hehehe, I wanna go have some beers and watch this get out :D

Cause that's the type of ass I am.

(as an aside, when I do stupid stuff, I FULLY expect friends to come over, drink beer, and laugh hysterically while pointing/taking pictures)

Its gonna have to be dug around with another excavator, possibly a long reach machine. Then it may be able to swing itself around to help with the extraction. That would only work if the ground doesnt just fall right back into where you just dug out. I would be suprised to see it pull out under its own power....the suction of that watery crap is gonna be really strong. When stuff gets up that high, like around the cab, its past the point of getting out under its on power. Come to think of it, the air filters are getting very close to being under the mud if they arent already. They usually sit about as high as the seat give or take a little.

I just hope it wasn't a rental.

Holly Crap!! I just saw this thread. How much are you charging spectators to watch this hoe be removed? I gotta see this. And I must say I have never screwed up that bad

thats if the engine & hyd. system is not contaminated with mud & crap

If they were smart, they're charge admission to watch them extract it. i'd pitch in $10 to watch for a day. shoot, have a vendor out there selling beer... might be surprised how much $$ you could make, lol.

Yeah - except for one minor problem...
from the looks of it, that "good operator" has no place to sit.

The cabin is virtually buried. They're gonna have to dig it out just to get somebody back into it.
