trail fix

It's so common with heeps and c clips, they even make a "tool" that does the same.

I just don't understand the point of paying over $100 for that, rather than just upgrading the damn thing.

I broke mine about 1-1/2 miles from home and drove all the way home with a couple turns and stops. Wheel was sticking out 8 inches or so, but it made it.

Don't forget the obligatory telescoping magnet to fish the broken stub out with... it's so prevalent, most of the folks WITHOUT D35s carry them!

it's funny too. I have 3 or 4 brokrn stub shaft pcs. and the all seem to look the same...Same twist, same fracture line/angle

Ya think you would have learned after the 2nd time... :flipoff2:

I did, I thought...then I bought the Warn full floater kit.
That lasted a while...then I 3 linked the rear and added an 8.8 in the TJ that I miss so dearly.

WARRIOR likey 8.8, but still worry about the c-clip woes.

I've seen that done before. It works great if you slick up the tire with grease.
