It's so common with heeps and c clips, they even make a "tool" that does the same.

I just don't understand the point of paying over $100 for that, rather than just upgrading the damn thing.

I broke mine about 1-1/2 miles from home and drove all the way home with a couple turns and stops. Wheel was sticking out 8 inches or so, but it made it.

Yeah if you got a D35 and You wheel it, You better have a plan similar to that, been there my self, Got a 8.8 now

i got to where i only takes me around 15 mins for rear and 10 for front

Don't forget the obligatory telescoping magnet to fish the broken stub out with... it's so prevalent, most of the folks WITHOUT D35s carry them!

it's funny too. I have 3 or 4 brokrn stub shaft pcs. and the all seem to look the same...Same twist,same fracture line/angle

I did, I thought...then I bought the Warn full floater kit.
That lasted a while...then I 3 linked the rear and added an 8.8 in the TJ that I miss so dearly.

WARRIOR likey 8.8, but still worry about the c-clip woes.

Yeah I had an Issue with doing mine that way, i am running claws so the side bitters were crewing it up pretty bad. Here is a link to the last time my D35 bust and I limped it out.
