trailer stolen

I guess i was lucky just my tires/wheels were stolen. I think I might just paint mine pink, that would def. stand out.
 
I guess I need to think about locking mine up better, I have a two tongue locks but nothing else to deter theft. I guess chains through both sets of wheels should help. If I ever pave /concrete the pad where I keep mine I may install anchors to chain to.

Good luck finding yours/getting a new one. F-ing theives should be shot.
 
Make it stand out!!!!!!

Honestly besides some money and time how hard would it be really to take the wood out and axles off and get it sandblasted and powdercoated a crazy cool color that would stand out?? :) I think that would be just like doing a chassis or frame or big cage or something. If i ever get another trailor its going to be a wild color. Not black. You will all see it coming from a mile away. It might blind you.
 
I keep mine locked up with a pin lock and a ball type lock. I know if someone wants is bad enough that will not stop them though. If the trailer is not in my yard I lock the safety chains up as well. I like the idea of the bar in the wheels though. I need to get s et of locking lug nuts to fit mine also. I do think I will be adding some owner specific identifiers to my trailer though. Something the cannot be welded over or cut off to easily. Any ideas?

I can't stand a MF GD SOB Good for nothin theif. In my book they're up there rapists, child molesters, and murderers....
