Stopped for today. Rain coming in. Need more than a 1/4 impact or the hole needs opening up just a hair.
What is the deck mount for? Looks useless if you already have the other one at the front. So I’m leaning towards mounting the deck mount to the 3” channel already there and add a piece of angle to each side. I’ll build a drop in mount for the cradle.

So those two plugs I assume are places for hoses?

The deck mount was me thinking of a way to mount the winch there or a d ring for using a vehicle winch to drag a vehicle up on the deck. What is the deck mount for? Looks useless if you already have the other one at the front.
Those two fittings are for hoses. I think 1/2” NPT but I’m not 100% sure. It’s a 2 way cylinder, but the plate that separates the 2 chambers has a ~1/16” hole drilled in it. This flow restriction is what provides the damping action on the tilt. I just tack welded mine shut when I added the pump/motor. But you really need air in the system to use it as a damper since the chambers have different volumes. Or you can add a second dummy cylinder somewhere to match the volume movement.
