TSL's or IROKS?

I vote for the tsl. Im with the fact that there is more than just rock you are wheeling on. Seems like the lighter rig people are likeing the iroks better. Ive never triedem just keep hearing how they wear out fast. IVe personally run sx, bogger and now tsl.

I had some 36" Iroks and they seemed to grip well. Now I run 38" TSL SX's because they look cooler, and that is all that matters since I never wheel anymore.

Have I wheeled somewere besides my backyard? I am glad it is so easy to talk:poop: to people on here, I am tired of it. Anytime

no one is talking ":poop:" but in typical nc4x4 fashion you were quick to jump the gun and battle back.

reason i said what i said was that there are TONS of threads like this on the internet with people that post up "X flat out out performs Y and is better in every sense" without ever having actually run Y product (or have run it in a situation that it wasnt designed for, thus clouding their view)...they either heard someone else say it, or they run X and just happen to like it. There are guys that are going to love a tire that everyone else hates. Look at the boggers. They work well for tons of people and other people (myself included) wouldnt put a set on my truck if they were free. It is a FACT that the Irok is a softer, more sticky tire. It is a FACT that the SX is a very tough tire. It is a FACT that the TSL does well in a muddy environment. The OP wants a tire that will run down the highway (radial), so that to me automatically eliminates the TSL in a radial (now having personally never owned a set if the radials i cannot say that they arent what he is looking for, but my opinion is that they are not what he wants if he wants a true wheeling tire that will run down the highway as well.) I have wheeled with a set of these on a TJ and and have seen their paper thin sidewalls get slashed by smooth roots (3 tires in less than 20 feet). I have never met a person that is happy with them that actually wheels on a normal basis (or bought them for a wheeling purpose, and has experience with another wheeling tire). The radial Irok works well offroad and works decent on the road. You may get more miles out of a set of radial TSLs, but at what price? Traction, toughness, and all around wheel-ability of the tire. Another reason to ask if you have run the all is because if someone has only run street tires and BFG ATs, they will obviously think the ATs are a better wheeling tire. If they have never run a swamper or MT tire, they wont know truly how much better that tire will wheel than their AT so they cannot accurately comment on the abilities of those tires.
