On Rocky Mount Loop after Kodak Rock heading toward Saw Mill, on the nice level stuff that anyone can drive on...my front wheel kicks up a flat rock and wedges it into my stock transfer case skid plate and shears the drive shaft apart like its warm butter. Pictures are attached. So, with a some help from the group I was with, I crawled underneath unbolted the drive shaft at the U joint, threw it in the back seat and off I went in 2wd...

So now does anyone have a stock front drive shaft for a TJ laying around???

I swear it was Solar Yellow day out there or something. I don't believe I have ever seen so many yellow Jeeps in all of my life as I saw out there today (mine included).

alright... well then I guess the red jeep and yellow jeep did not help ya figure out who I was.. how about if I said there was two dogs with us. a lab and a golden?

I think we saw you out there. Purple jeep with a half top or bikini/windjammer/tonneau cover right?

yea.. that was me/ it was the combowindjammer/bikini/tonneau. I wanted something differnt besides a normal top, it got you to notice me :p

When I stopped at the Outpost yesterday morning it looked like a Jeep fest with about 25-30 in the parking lot. I did get to meet ProjekTJ and rode with them to Kodak. On our second trip to Kodak we watched the fellas from Aggressive Offroad, I think, take on the rocks. I had a great time just came home dusty as hell. I had to take the leaf blower to the inside of my rig to get majority of the silt out.

I saw you at Kodak yesterday. You were with another EB right? We were the group ahead of you.

For as many jeeps as I saw in the parking lot at the Outpost, I didn't see many on the trails at all. Guess they must have been running some other trails.

Yep, that was us. Your rig is the black Trailduster? If so I think my buddy got a few PICs of you and I believe the K5 also. He said he got a few of the white Sami that teetered and almost rolled. I'll post up when he Emails them to me.

First rule of wheeling - never replace with the same part. This is the time to realize a weakness and UPGRADE!

I usually give it a one-time "fluke" thing.. #2 it gets upgraded, and on #3, a re-design is worked on...

Unfortunately, I've got 2 strikes on everything below the sliders these days.. (Except my driveshafts so far)
