URE 4X4 CROSS CARNAGE LISTINGS

I'll add my back, neck, shoulder, and feet. Damn that was a rough ride. I was co-pilot in the stock s-10 blazer that put up a 7.56 time. I would say we where in the air for about a half a mile in the race. I just hope some folks got pics and vids. Good times. Can't wait till the next one.

Yeah, I sure would like to see some videos of that. How well did that blazer hold up?

I left my buggy out of the rock pile to save it for the race... We had a very fast time going but the right front hit a rock on the landing of one of the jumps after Checkpoint 6 and sheared the 6 bolts holding to highsteer arm to the knuckle and portal box. We ran a while with no steering on the RF untill it locked up, then we drove in reverse untill it completely broke off about 100ft. from the finish line. It broke the rock into 4 peices and someone got it on camera in sequence pics. It was nice to meet everyone... Hope you all enjoyed the show!!!!

The frame is smiling at you. Broke windshield, 2 broke two hooks, roof buckled, broke pass seat, missing 1 freeze plug, custom grooved tire. The frame was so bent that park was reverse. Not to bad for the ride that it had. We never let out, backed up, or stopped for that matter. Half way through the race our fire ex discharged itself. At first I we thought it was a tire becuase of the sound, then I though fire because of the smoke. Then we tasted it. I think it made our time faster, because if we didn't get out fast I think I would have lost my breakfast. If anyone was at the finish line when we came through, that is why we came rolling out gaging and yaking. Good times. Can't wait till next time.

Well got to Uwharrie on Wensday, lost all my forward gears while randomly driving slightly above idle for no reason . . .

spent the next two days trying to replace the tranny and tcase with various parts, had it out a total of 4 times :handed: Thanks to Big John for letting me use his garage and Cody for helpin me out a ton :driver:

Still made it the furthest in the mud pit in reverse than the winner of the comp (by a few inches) just didn't award it to myself since I was running the the comp

After my run at the Mud comp started playing around in reverse in the free area, did a donut, then wet to nail the deep side, blew the driver side of my steering ram out, and called it a day :driver:

Best part of the weekend (hell, make it the best part of the year so far, lol) for me was the new co-driver I had in the mud pit ;)

My Buddy in Kevin in the dovetailed K5 on tons and gumbo 44's blew out his front stub shafts and a u joint randomly while doing donuts int he Mud pit :shaking:

Yea, who was that good lookin gal ricky?

I completed 2 runs in A-class

# 107 8:37

Nailed a rock while air borne, dead stopping the truck while diving into the gut just above the ledge (Should be some spectator video footage soon). This drove the passenger side control arm back about 1/2" in the frame mounts / bending the mounts. THe hit also drove the engine forward far enough to hit the front diff and nearly pierce the oil pan with a diff bolt. Stock suspension bottoms out harsh from the 3'+ of air ~ bending the strut towers upon landing. Also boiled teh powersteering over and lost lots of PS fluid, But It ran again for a second beating with no other issues.

# 121 7:57 No additional issues.

Bent front end ~

We broke a rear axle shaft int he suburban just after the ledge before kodak, and made it to the top of kodak before the tire wheel and remnants of the shaft finally walked out of the suburban. fixed it that afternoon and were back riding.

I also broke a leaf spring and severly bent my drag link in my YJ, making it between checkpoint 1 and 2. AND while in mid-air, on two wheels, caught a tree with the hardtop and cracked it but not too bad, and hitting the hardtop saved me from flopping.

Awesome weekend

Pics coming soon

Haha, yeah those are tough little trucks. You can beat the snot out of them and tear up everthing on it, but it will keep going. I bet it was a blast.

I was the volunteer at checkpoint 7 and I picked up several of your high steer bolts after the jump right before checkpoint 7. Myself and the ranger were looking for an escape route when we saw your front tires plowing down the course!!!!!

i like the difference in the 3rd and 4th picture of the spotters forearm. he goes from holding onto the grab bar on the dash to clinching it as hard as he can.

I changed those bolts the day before the race because I had broken 2... Wish they had the times at each checkpoint, one of the guys at the finish said we were the fastest time of the weekend untill checkpoint 7 but I never saw it on paper. Either way it only counts if you finish, and I cant wait to do it again.
