Made it to the bottom of Kodak and realized I didn't have brakes. Loooking under the jeep I found this:

When I had my Dana 60 axle narrowed about 10 years ago, I thought the guy did a great job with the tube.. But the 10 year warranty ran out :shaking: I ran this axle VERY hard under my old CJ-7, but the LJ didn't like it too much.
We made it back to Arrowhead under my own power, so all is good...
Great weekend anyway...
Ricky

Awesome pictures guys.... hope i get to go at least once this year.

I hate to bring it back up and beat a half dead horse but i do have a question about riding off the trail.

In the case where you have 2 groups of say 5 or more rigs that meet on a hill traveling in opposite directions, usually i/we just pull off the trail on to the "shoulder" to allow the other group to continue on past. In that case what is the best practice to avoid going off trail?

That's not riding off trail but giving way to other wheelers, pull over, let pass, carry on  <<<<Pun Intended

Is this not the area of Daniel where the trail splits into 3 separate trails? That looks like he is going between 2 of the spider trails to me. Last time I checked making new trails was a no no and considered off trail. Or is this not considered off trail?

Video of me on Rocky Mount Loop just before the other TJ back flipped and barrel rolled. I was smart enough to give up and go around.

Couldn't get embedding to work so here is the link to thevideo:

orange blaze trail marker is right there. I would say he is on the trail.

Technically at one point in time that was off the trail, that orange blaze marker is showing the edge of the path to the left. That was way back when the 3 paths were more defined many years ago. Now that entire area is pretty much "the trail". Its like the Kodak Rock Garden, the entire area (even between the 3 paths) is the trail. So he was in the right, in fact we have taken vehicles up that route on Forest Service workdays with no comment from the Forest Service.

thought it was dropped if you want to get tech the orange markers alot farther back then my jeep was at anypoint on the hill
