Urinal or stall?

Just a quick poll. When you walk into the men's restroom and there is a line of open urinals, and you need to do is pee, do you go up to one of the open urinals or do you go into a stall? For discussion purposes lets say there are three open urinals in a row, so you wouldn't be crowding anyone.

Urinal always, unless someone is at the line of urinals, then it is the stall. Could be 100 urinals, but if there is one dude there I am hitting the stall.

If there are no open urinals, stall.
If there are no open urinals, no open stalls, women's room.

I prefer the urinal. I'll even wait for the urinal instead of going into a stall if one is open. I don't care if people are standing beside me.

Ever thought about how much pee backsplash slowly accumulates on ties? You know they never get washed. Jackets too.

As a side note, many years ago a DB that worked where I did got fired after they busted him snorting coke. He was in the bathroom snorting off the top of the urinal by the flush handle.

I remember talking about this back when I was getting my Psych degree, were discussing ethics in research etc...

Bottom line - scientific proof that having somebody stand next to you makes it take longer to pee.
The fun part... actually getting that data...

I think about this every time I go to a concert and they have lines of guys all crowded in at a giant trough (I know Walnut Creek used to be that way).

Stalls are a crap shoot. You never know when you'll be opening the door to a severe ass explosion that someone left as a gift.

The rule of "man buffer": when a stall isn't an option, only peeing at a urinal if there is at least one or more open urinals between you and the next guy.

That said, I prefer the upper decker when possible

Urinal if possible. I'll pee in a public stall toilet if the wall is full or not available. If there's a slot in the toilet seat, do you flip it up? I will with my foot, if it's fairly clean.

Typically urinal due to the simplicity. That and the fact that 8 out of 10 stalls look like a crime scene.
