uwharrie sun dec 9...day run

I have seen plenty of stock jeeps drive all over daniel...why cant a nissan. You can make it if you are willing to give it a little hell when you need to.

Im not scared to give it hell. My cross members are tough and Ive got pretty strong running boards, Id rather not sustain any body damage though. Ive got a winch if it comes down to it.
 
last week when we were there a guy with us drove his 2008 dodge power wagon 2500 crew cab up daniel then to kodak no problem
he will be there sun for the demo
should be cool
 
Looks like I wil be there in the XJ...With 2 really dented doors :shaking:
 
I may end up making it up there tomorrow, got a SYE to install today on a TJ then see if I can put a band aid(less worn centering joint) on my front drive shaft
 
Awesome day today! I took tons of pics and some video. I will start a new thread with all the pics in a few hours when I get them all uploaded. I think I got pics of every truck out there!:beer:
 
i might be heading up their in a couple hours... depends how the wheel bearings look...

I'll be up there tomorrow with my co pilot Tabb. Only this time he will be riding with me and not bringing the fullsize. I should be at the outpost by 9. By the way I really need a trailer. U-Haul is getting really old.
 
Carnage!!!

I broke the XJ today. Sheared off both the drivers side ball joints. Got it to the parking lot thanks to a exoed trooper and some creative winching. I got a few pics from the day run. Most are of my breakage! Looks like it's time to swap in 44's. I'm hoping to have it ready again around christmas time.

Yep I watched the DVD last night. The Luv is on there quite a bit. I'll get up with you this evening.

Speaking of welding, Jeff I actually need to talk with you about welding up my mounts for my 44's to go under the XJ.

Glad I could help out. I actually had a good time pulling you back to the road. I had not played bumper cars in a long time. :lol:

I really appreciate the tow. I think when I do my exo I'm going to incorporate a towing setup!
 
Had a great time as well yesterday. THANKS to the folks who helped me out of the "almost flopped again in the same spot" situation. Marviluson actually spit out a axle trying to pull and Pinkston for winching the rig.
That "tow truck" set up a trail recovery classic for sure :beer:

ive got a stock tj running 31's and run pretty much all over uwharrie , yes i run the bypass in some areas but for the most part my inhibitions are the only limitations i have.......so go for it man
